I've said it once and I'll say it again…I love love!
I've known Sterling and Gabby for a few years. When they were dating, they were just absolutely adorable. They were "that" couple that everyone just oohs and aaahs over. Just precious in every way. So, when I heard of their engagement, I was like "Yaaaayyy!!" and when they asked me to do their engagement photos, I was like "AAAHHH!!! DUH!!" I'm not even sure if that's English….but that's literally what came out of my mouth.
So, these two high school sweethearts are getting hitched next week! Not only am I honored to be able to witness their union, but guess who gets to shoot it? Oh yeah, THIS GIRL!! I'm beyond thrilled and excited. That term "I literally can't even" is where I believe I'm at right now…..is that a medical term or….?
Gabbie is a beautiful singer. She's a worshipper and a vocal artist. She also plays the acoustic guitar. She's one of those women who is overly multi-talented, and beautiful, and kind, and giving, and strong, and intelligent, and she makes the best chocolate chip cookies. It's like, really God? You had to just start showing off when you made her, didn't you. But I'm glad He did, and I'm sure Sterling is happy about that too. I don't know though…can you tell by this photo if he's into her? I'm thinking yes.
Sterling and I have something in common. We both have a heart for missions. We have both been to Burundi, Africa to help with an orphan home that we support. This just says it all about Mr. Sterling. He is a good man with a good heart. These two compliment each other so well and that's always so nice to see. Everyone knows that relationships are never easy, no matter how great the two people are. But these two just make love look light and effortless. And that's the way it should look. Love should be light and easy but strong and constant. I see that in Gabbie and Sterling. Man, I can not wait for their wedding!!
So once again, I am so happy for these two. I know life will throw them some challenges, but I also know that they will not only survive but they will thrive abundantly together. They are so blessed to have each other and I am so blessed to be able to be a part of their lives.
